While we strive to ensure the best possible service experience, it is important for all clients to understand the following terms, conditions, and limitations that govern our work. By requesting, authorizing, or accepting any service from TechGyver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer.
1. General Disclaimer
All services provided by TechGyver, including but not limited to computer repair, maintenance, diagnostics, upgrades, data recovery, networking, and home service support, are performed at the customer’s sole risk. TechGyver and its technicians make no express or implied guarantees regarding the outcome of any service, the recovery of data, or the performance of a repaired device. While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure successful results, technology issues can be unpredictable and results may vary.
2. Limitation of Liability
TechGyver shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use your device or any services provided. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, business interruption, system downtime, hardware failure, or loss of revenue.
The customer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to maintain up-to-date backups of all important files and data before authorizing any repair, upgrade, or software installation. TechGyver will not be liable for any data corruption, deletion, or hardware malfunction that may occur during the repair process.
3. Data Privacy and Security
TechGyver respects the confidentiality and privacy of all customer data. Our technicians will not access, copy, or disclose any personal files unless required for service completion or data recovery with customer consent. However, TechGyver cannot guarantee absolute data security during service, particularly if the device is already compromised by malware, hardware failure, or software corruption.
Customers are encouraged to remove sensitive personal or confidential information before submitting their devices for service whenever possible.
4. Service Authorization and Ownership
By submitting a device for service, you confirm that you are the rightful owner or authorized representative of the device and that no data or component on the system violates any local or international law. You also authorize TechGyver technicians to perform diagnostics, repairs, and necessary modifications as part of the service process.
5. Warranty and Service Limitations
TechGyver offers limited warranties only on specific parts or services as explicitly stated on invoices or receipts. Warranty coverage does not include:
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, electrical surges, or liquid exposure.
Issues resulting from third-party repairs or tampering after service completion.
Software conflicts, malware reinfection, or user-related errors.
Any warranty claim must be accompanied by the original service receipt within the specified warranty period.
6. Parts and Components
Replacement parts used by TechGyver may be new, refurbished, or OEM-equivalent based on availability and customer preference. TechGyver will inform clients of part options and associated costs prior to installation. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects or delays in parts supply from third parties.
7. Home Service and On-Site Visits
For home or on-site services, customers are responsible for providing a safe, accessible, and secure work environment. TechGyver is not liable for any damages to property, network interruptions, or environmental factors that hinder service completion. Appointment times are subject to traffic, weather, and unforeseen delays, and may be rescheduled if necessary.
8. Payments and Estimates
All service fees are due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates provided before diagnostics are approximate and subject to change once a full assessment has been completed. TechGyver reserves the right to decline service or refuse to return equipment until outstanding payments are settled.
9. Software Licensing and Legality
TechGyver does not install, distribute, or activate unlicensed or pirated software. Clients must provide valid software licenses when required. TechGyver will not be held responsible for software legality issues resulting from client-provided programs or files.
10. Acceptance of Disclaimer
By using TechGyver’s services, whether in-shop, remotely, or through home service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions contained in this disclaimer. If you do not agree, please refrain from requesting or authorizing any service.
